  3. Faster than the speed of light and soundless, it’s making its way around the world. Tonight, sitting here in England, I’ve received copies from Paris and LA and a bunch of other cities.

    With good reason. It’s marvelous!!

And explains things to non-Americans who ask Americans out of the U.S. how things like this can happen.

I just sent it to my group, the UK Obama Meetup, the largest Obama group outside the U.S.

  4. the VP debate was stunning. Palin did a decent job faking about 20% of the questions and didn’t even bother answering the other 80%.

i couldn’t help thinking of the end of the movie Billy Madison, when the debate moderator says to Adam Sandler, “Mr. Madison, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”

  5. You fools. Palin is going to be the next VP. Obama and Biden do nothing other than lie and change their argument to whatever is popular at that time. At least Palin calls it like it is. She may not know everything, but she doesn’t come up with lies to cover it. She flat out says, you know what, I don’t know that, but let me find out and get back to you. Thats all I want. Honesty in a dang politician.

  6. Hahaha, this is funny but true. It is lovely. This is sad that out of 300M people in America, McLame could not pick any one but Sarah. The selection of Sarah speaks volume about McLame.

  7. I know the URL is right there in the image, but it’s always polite to include a link to the source as well.

  8. #5:

So you’re okay with a Vice-President who told 18 - count ‘em - lies to the American people even before she might be elected? What do you think she might do with all the power of the FBI, the federal government, and the Oval Office at her disposal, hmmm?

So you’re okay with a Vice-President wannabe who arrogantly tells the interviewer at the only debate she’ll have - “I’m going to answer what *I* want, not what you ask me, not what anyone asks me. I’ll talk straight to the American people.”

The American people will see right through that one.

Afraid to answer questions? Poorly informed?

Palin is like a high school student who stayed up too late with last-minute cramming for a test.

Of all the women Republicans might have chosen, this is a poor example.

Of course, #5, you might yourself prefer a “Golly Gee” President someday. That’s your right.

And why is McCain holding back full medical reports? What is he not telling us? This goofy woman could become our next President.

If that happens, #5, please do think back to this message. You will have only yourself to blame.

  9. Your chart illustrates a real pattern. We laugh because it’s funny. We laugh because it’s true.

But I have not yet heard anyone from any side express any concern about the most dangerous possibility if Governor Palin is elected to national office.

  11. Bullfeathers! Pure unadulterated bullfeathers. You wish you had a candidate with her attributes, but you don’t. You have Biden who spouted two dozen lies during the course of the debate.

  12. I was distracted when I watched the ‘debate’ since all I could think of was Minny Pearl and reruns of ‘HeeHaw’ (occasionally Ellie Mae from ‘The Beverly Hillbillies’ came to mind too.)
