Design guidelines for the widening of page templates across bbc.co.uk (PDF). Aside from this document’s first-order value - providing an informative definition of the BBC grid - it also provides a look into the documentation/specification format and process of the BBC UX&D team. Rare, interesting find indeed.
This is a really great document. That’s great that they released this, as I think its a wonderful example of a design spec that others can use.

A very interesting document indeed. BBC at the cutting edge es per usual. I’d be very interested to see their documentation for the BBC navigation and orientation concept.
