2. Education
3. Core Software
4. Experience
5. Attitude

IMO, Balind is right on, on all 5 keys.

  1. I think the list which should come before this is

    1. Honesty
    2. Integrity
    3. Loyalty
    4. Communication
    5. Have a good work ethic

    Unfortunately, there are way too many designers which lack many or all of these qualities.
