It’s been a long, long while since my last post. Much has changed since then: A baby daughter grown now to eight and a half months of sheer joy, a house nearly completely remodeled, and a surprisingly large number of new projects about to be released to the world.

It’s been a busy and productive six months away from writing. At work, the majority of the time I have spent managing 20 direct reports. Yes, you read that correctly - 20. It’s been a trial by fire, and I’ve learned an incredible amount from it all.

I can’t wait to share the lessons, practices, and insights gained from the experience. This will all come with the usual collection of links, observations, and analysis of design writ large. We’ll see if I can get my readership back.
